everything seems so unfamiliar
i wonder how it is i am where i find myself
which steps brought me here?
i can look backwards and see the path i've walked
and how it lead me to when i stand
but i cannot comprehend
how it became this moment
how the picture changed so
it simply cannot be as it is
yet it is only as it is
with all it was or all it could have been
lost in a footstep
or hidden in a dream
maybe?
maybe if i can let go and see
the truth of my footprints
 my future can rewrite my past
so that what is real is not lost
but waiting
for me to find myself
